The Office of Human Resources welcomes you to Bamberg School District Two. We are excited that you have accepted a position with us.
It is your responsibility to print and complete all required paperwork PRIOR to beginning your first day of work. Federal and State laws require us to obtain certain documentation as a part of the new hire process. Please bring ALL COMPLETED, REQUIRED paperwork with you when you meet with the Payroll/Benefits Clerk. Please call (803) 793-3346 Ext. 1033 to schedule a time to meet individually with the clerk, this helps us with social distancing during the current pandemic.
REMINDER TO ALL NEW EMPLOYEES: YOU MUST SCHEDULE A MEETING WITH PAYROLL/BENEFITS THE FIRST DAY YOU REPORT TO WORK.
Please see below the required documents by position for which you have been hired:
Administrative/ Principal/ Professional
- Important New Hire Information
- W-4 Federal | W-4 State of South Carolina
- Direct Deposit - must attach a voided check (checking account). If using a Savings Account, you must have a letter on bank letterhead containing the Federal Reserve ID number ( routing number), and account number.
- Social Security Card, Driver’s License/Passport/Legal Pictured ID Card
- TB Test MUST be completed no more than one year prior to employment. Must bring form completed by doctor with date and results. TB Chest X-Rays & Blood Test must be documented on a DHEC 1420 Form.
- I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification Form (USCIS website).
- Original Social Security Card for Payroll purposes (this can serve as one I-9 document)
- Verification of Job Experience (12 month employees only)
- Verification of Sick Leave (needed only for work in another SC district).
- Personal Data & Self Identification
Teachers

- Verification of Highly Qualified Status (Parapros only) - must meet one of the requirements listed below.
- Transcript showing 60 credit hours from an accredited college
- Associates Degree or higher
- Passing scores for the Parapro Workkeys Assessment or the ETS Parapro Assessment
- Personal Identification & Self Identification
