    PART A - IMPROVING TEACHER QUALITY GRANTS

    PURPOSE:

    • To increase student academic achievement by improving teacher quaility (Professional Development Activities)
    • To increase the number of highly qualified teachers in the classroom

    CORE ACADEMIC SUBJECTS:

    Core adademic subjects are English, reading or language arts, mathematics, science, foreign languages, civic and govenment, economics, arts, history and geography.+

  • Title VI

    Part B of ESEA Title VI, also called REAP, contains Subpart 1, the Small, Rural School Achievement (SRSA) Program, and Subpart 2, Rural and Low-Income School (RLIS) Program.  The purpose of Title VI is to provide funding flexibility to help eligible schools raise student achievement.
