South Carolina Teaching Standards 4.0 Rubric Training

On November 30 through December 2, 2016, a district team attended training sessions on the new South Carolina Teaching Standards 4.0 rubric, which will be integrated into the Expanded ADEPT Support and Evaluation System for all classroom-based teachers.  Principals will attend training sessions in the Spring of 2017.

Training was sponsored by the South Carolina State Department of Education (SCDE), and led by Vicky Condalary – Assistant Director of School Services at NIET (National Institute for the Evaluation of Teaching).

The SCDE is preparing for statewide, full system implementation beginning in the 2018-2019 school year.
