  • It is important that our students are exposed to the community at large.  Therefore, teachers provide opportunities for students to broaden their horizons by visiting local sites and events that are offered in the state. 

  • A small rural school, Denmark-Olar Elementary School thrives because of its community partners.  These individuals and institutions work with and for DOES to ensure that students' needs are met. We are very fortunate to have an outstanding team of community partners, who care about our students and the quality of education being afforded them. Through their assistance, it has been demonstrated that great things can be accomplished for young people when parents, grandparents, organizations, businesses, and  schools become partners in education.
